Windsor Run's Bo Lundh Named Leader of the Year by Erickson Senior Living

Matthews, North Carolina--Bo Lundh, Associate Executive Director of Windsor Run, was named Leader of the Year for 2018 by Erickson Living.

The recognition is given to a manager or director who continually demonstrates exceptional leadership qualities and inspires, motivates and empowers his or her team members to commit to excellence in serving residents.  

Mr. Lundh was one of 20 employees selected by their respective communities or corporate departments and recognized nationally among his peers during the Erickson Living Annual Meeting held in Baltimore, Maryland on March 4.  

Erickson Living is the developer and manager of 20 continuing care retirement communities throughout the country, including Windsor Run in Matthews, North Carolina.

George Comfort, Executive Director of Windsor Run, noted that Mr. Lundh strikes the right balance in the operational duties, team-building and relational aspects of his leadership position.

"Since our opening in May 2018, Bo has ensured that residents of Windsor Run are receiving quality services so they can lead an active and healthy lifestyle," stated Mr. Comfort.  "For nearly twenty-five years, Bo has consistently embraced our mission and values, and we are proud to see his hard work and dedication recognized by his peers across the nation."

A resident of Matthews, Mr. Lundh began his career with Erickson Living in 1995 as a Senior Accountant at Oak Crest, sister community located in Baltimore County, Maryland, and earned a promotion to Controller later that year.  

In 2000, he became the Director of Finance for Riderwood, an Erickson Living community in the Washington, D.C. suburbs where he would also serve as Assistant Executive Director and Director of Operations.  In 2016, Mr. Lundh was the Associate Executive Director of Oak Crest, an Erickson Living community in Parkville, Maryland.  Prior to joining Erickson Living, he had nine years of experience in finance working for the Swedish government, specializing in elder care and health care.  

Mr. Lundh holds a B.S. degree in finance from the University of Lund in Sweden.  He is a graduate of Leadership Montgomery, an educational program that connects leaders from the private, public and non-profit sectors.
