Looking for a new career path with a company that cares about your well-being and your future? Brooksby Village, an Erickson Senior Living community in Peabody, Mass., offers team members a generous and unique package of attractive benefits, including paid leave, health insurance, retirement, and health and well-being incentives, while supporting personal career goals.

“Employees who take advantage of our benefits, can thrive and grow their careers at Brooksby Village,” says Mary Naughton, Brooksby’s human resources director. "Our generous and affordable medical, dental and vision plans help employees stay on top of their health and quality of life.”

“Our Wellness Fund, Health Advocate app and MDLIVE telehealth offer lots of ways to track wellness and boost well-being,” Naughton adds. “Plus, our on-site Employee Health and Well-Being Center is free to employees.”

Since 1983, our growing, nationwide network of communities has delivered on our mission—helping people live better lives. As one of the most respected names in senior living, those driven to make a difference thrive, every day, in Erickson careers.

“Embracing the culture, team members use their passions and talents helping residents and colleagues live better lives,” says Nicole Walker, vice president of human resources. “Erickson Senior Living recognizes the invaluable contributions employees make, providing them a robust package of benefits reflecting our commitment to financial stability, health and well-being, and work-life balance.”

Brooksby Village’s comprehensive rewards go beyond typical employee benefits and include tuition reimbursement, company matched 401Ks, generous paid time off, online training, advancement opportunities, on-site employee health and well-being centers, discount programs, pet insurance, and more!

“Here at Brooksby we always encourage and foster our employees who seek additional education and training to follow their favored career paths, through training opportunities and tuition assistance.” Naughton says. “Many of our employees start here as teens and stay for decades—making their career goals a reality.”

Mariam Rivas started at Brooksby Village as a home health aide in December 2016, moving up within the department as a home support office coordinator, home support scheduling coordinator, home care office coordinator, and assistant administrator.

Mariam has taken advantage of Erickson’s tuition reimbursement assistance before, and is again. “I graduated with my associate degree in liberal arts November 2021,” Mariam says. “And am pursuing my bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration.”

Mariam appreciates paid time off, too, which affords time for study, family vacations, or just rest and relaxation.

“I used my paid time off before the end of my school semester to complete final exams and papers,” she says. “I take vacations with my family, we love to travel, whether a Disney cruise, our annual family trip to Florida, or a recent visit to my dad in Puerto Rico!”

Erickson Senior Living offers unique rewards to help team members like Mariam bring their best selves to work each day, including Annual Well-Being Visits, complimentary check-ups, free access to wellness workshops, fitness challenges, health trackers and more via the Health Advocate app.

Employees enrolled in an Erickson Senior Living medical plan can access up to $260 in Wellness Fund reimbursement for personal wellness expenses, including home exercise equipment, fitness classes, athletic shoes, and weight-loss programs. Employees can connect with licensed therapists for mental health support, through MDLIVE.

“I like working at Brooksby because it feels like a second home. Everyone helps each other out, always smiling and greeting each other,” Mariam says. “We have many employee activities and celebrations. There are a lot of growth opportunities here, and in other Erickson communities.”

“I love helping people and seeing their smiles. That is the best,” Mariam adds. “When you get a call from a stressed family member or caregiver looking for help, they often call to thank you and tell you how we’ve made things easier for them and their loved one. That’s an amazing feeling!”
