The Benefits of Being an Eagle’s Trace Employee

January 26, 2024
Employees at Eagle's Trace, the Erickson Senior Living-managed community in West Houston, can take advantage of benefits and training to advance their careers.

As the senior living industry continues to flourish, Erickson Senior Living recognizes the pivotal role that benefits play in fostering a vibrant and dedicated workforce.

A survey released by the Society for Human Resource Management noted that 60 percent of employees said that benefits were extremely or very important when considering staying with their current employer. Erickson Senior Living's commitment to employee well-being goes beyond industry standards, offering a comprehensive range of benefits and rewards that prioritize work-life balance, financial stability, and health and well-being.

Nicole Walker, Senior Vice President of Human Resources for Erickson Senor Living, says “Our team members embrace the culture and utilize their talents to help residents and each other live better lives,” stated Ms. Walker. “In turn, we recognize the invaluable contributions that employees make and provide a robust package of benefits that reflects our commitment to financial stability, health and well-being, and work-life balance.”

Career growth opportunities

Aurelija Arminas, a security team member at Eagle’s Trace in West Houston, has experienced this growth and job satisfaction firsthand by utilizing tuition reimbursement, staff development, and in-house training to advance her career with Eagle’s Trace.

Aurelija notes that she started as a housekeeper in 2005 and was promoted to housekeeping supervisor. She pursued other opportunities in 2010, but returned in 2022 as a security team member, working as a Gatehouse Officer. In 2023, Aurelija completed in-community training and became an Emergency Medical Responder (EMR).

“I love Eagle’s Trace,” says Aurelija. “I love how they care for the employees, all of the benefits provided, and the opportunities to learn and grow. It’s just an amazing place to work.”

Generous employee benefits and rewards

Erickson Senior Living's benefits package goes beyond the ordinary, offering a variety of health care plans, including medical, dental, and vision. Employees can build their careers with tuition reimbursement, enjoy a healthy work-life balance with generous paid time off, and plan for their financial security with a 401K that includes a company match. Other perks include online training classes, advancement opportunities, on-site employee health and well-being centers, discount programs, pet insurance, and more.

Aurelija appreciates the tuition reimbursement, utilizing it to take an Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) course. Taking the EMT course opened up the opportunity for career growth for Aurelija, and once certified, she’ll work as an EMT at Eagle’s Trace.

“Everyone who works at Eagle’s Trace can get promoted. They can take classes, and they can take training. Anyone can advance in their career if they have the desire and put in the effort,” she says.

This robust array of benefits and perks allows Erickson Senior Living to keep three important promises to team members: (1) create a vibrant work environment for team members, (2) provide financial stability and benefits to those who work here, and (3) make health and well-being a priority.
