Dallas, Texas--If a move is on the horizon in 2021, now is the time to start planning. Highland Springs, the Erickson Living-managed community in North Dallas, is accepting reservations for its newest residence building Edgewater Place, currently under construction and scheduled to open in May 2021.
"We're continuing to grow based on demand," says Director of Sales Christina Christie. "We've been building quickly over the past three or four years, and we're used to having options [for new apartments] available every year or year-and-a-half. Once we finish Edgewater Place, we will likely pause for a little while before we continue with any further construction. If you're looking for a new apartment, this is the time to reserve."
Edgewater Place is the fourth and final building in the community's second neighborhood. It follows Lakeview Pointe, which opened in April 2020. Edgewater Place and Lakeview Pointe are uniquely located on the 89-acre campus, with both residence buildings offering views overlooking Bluebonnet Lake.
"Edgewater Place offers wonderful places to look out from every spot in the building, both on the lake side and on the courtyard side," says Christie. "Amenities in Lakeview Pointe include the White Rock Bistro, fitness center, spa and salon, and classroom. Edgewater Place connects to Lakeview Pointe, so apartments in Edgewater Place are just steps away from all these amenities."
Edgewater Place will also bring new offerings to the community, including Table Eighty-Ninety, an upscale dining venue with a modern bar, and a cards room.
"As we continue to grow, we're seeing more resident-driven clubs and amenities," says Christie. "The cards room will add another option for gathering and socialization."
Edgewater Place features 107 new apartment homes in a variety of one and two-bedroom floor plans.
"All apartments in Edgewater Place will have a patio or screened-in porch," says Christie. "We've heard feedback from customers who love that option, and we're excited to offer it on every floor plan in Edgewater Place."
Great selection, best prices
For those interested in moving to Edgewater Place, Christie says this is the time to reserve an apartment.
"There are a number of benefits to reserving now," she says. "This is the best time to get the greatest selection of floor plans and location within the building. Schedule an appointment with Sales Counselor Terese Mugno, and she can show you specifically where your favorite floor plans are located, pricing information, and what color schemes are available."
Another reason to reserve now?
"This is the time to lock in pre-opening prices," says Christie. "Entrance deposits typically go up each year, so take advantage of reserving early to get the greatest selection at the best price."
Move forward with confidence
As when previous residence buildings were under construction, the sales team is planning exclusive events for those who reserve an apartment in Edgewater Place.
"We want to give you an opportunity to get to know your new neighbors," says Christie. "Our events for reservists help you establish those connections, so you're already building friendships before you move in."
Other reservist events address the nuts and bolts of moving, help with the downsizing process, and connect you with all the resources you'll need for a smooth, successful move.
"Cindy Gay is our personal moving consultant, and she can help you talk through some of the factors that might be weighing you down," says Christie. "Maybe one of the reasons you haven't moved yet is that you're worried about downsizing and getting your house ready to sell. Cindy can provide you with names of real estate agents or senior move managers with experience helping people just like you make the same move."
Make it your own
Custom Interiors is another option that's best explored early.
"All the apartment homes in Edgewater Place will have modern finishes, including crown molding, stainless steel appliances, and granite countertops," says Christie. "The general finish-out has already been determined, but this is a great time to meet with Dana Holmes and Layne Taylor, our Custom Interiors team, to augment the beautiful finishes already in the apartment, if you choose to do so. Some popular options include extending wood floors and installing closet organization systems."
The journey to your new home in Edgewater Place begins with one phone call. "Call Terese now to schedule your appointment," says Christie. "Let her help you check off as many boxes on your wish list as possible. A lovely new apartment home is waiting for you.
