Pricing, Retirement and Understanding Our Financial Structure at Highland Springs

Retirement costs can add up quickly for Dallas seniors—but not at Highland Springs. Our financial model secures your future and makes managing your budget easy and predictable.

Our Financial Structure Includes Two Basic Costs:

  1. 90% Refundable Entrance Deposit*
A single 90% Refundable Entrance Deposit secures your Highland Springs independent living apartment home. Funds are returned to you or your beneficiaries when you leave the community.

  2. Monthly Service Package
Most day-to-day expenses are covered by a single fee you pay just once a month for a set amount. It covers utilities, property taxes, and so much more.

Our Track Record Sets Us Apart

Here are just a few indicators that speak to Highland Springs’ stability and reliability among Dallas senior living communities.

  • Home for Life Commitment
Highland Springs maintains a Resident Care Fund designed specifically to assist eligible residents who outlive their resources. In the 10 years we’ve been in existence, no one has ever been asked to leave the community because of a genuine inability to pay.

  • Fee-for-Service Advantage
Highland Springs doesn’t require you to pay for health care services that you may never use. Here, you only pay for a higher level of care if and when it’s needed—an approach that could save you and your family thousands of dollars every year that you remain independent.

  • Strong, Consistent Growth
The community recently opened Willow Ridge, a new residence building featuring 99 apartment homes. A second residence building, Pecan Grove, will bring 108 new homes to Highland Springs when it opens in winter 2016.

  • Not-for-Profit Community
Highland Springs is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation and an affiliate of National Senior Campuses, Inc. (NSC). The focus of the boards of NSC and its affiliated communities is on pursuing their not-for-profit missions and on the people who call the NSC communities home.

  • Part of a Thriving Family of Communities
Highland Springs is one of 19 communities managed by Erickson Living, a national leader in senior housing and health care. Over 24,000 seniors currently call an Erickson Living-managed community their home.
