Spring has sprung—and so have the pathways to college for a number of local high school students, thanks to the Student Scholar Awards at Lantern Hill, an Erickson Senior Living-managed community in New Providence, New Jersey.

Dedicated high school student workers are being recognized and set up for success through these four-year scholarships, funded by generous donations from community residents. At an award ceremony on June 6, four student workers graduating from New Providence High School were granted scholarships through the Student Scholarship Program at Lantern Hill. Jonathan Fletcher, Olivia Bethany Glenn, Landon Carter Paterson, and Jade Yu, members of the Dining Services Department, were awarded $4,000 scholarships from the community to support their pursuit of higher education.

"Our student workers really appreciate these impactful awards. I'd like to thank the residents who contributed to the Student Scholarship Fund," says Manager of Resident Services Carla Brady.

Fletcher is attending Kutztown University, majoring in History and continuing his interest in filmography.

Glenn will be attending the University of Colorado. She will pursue a degree in Business with a concentration in Marketing and Scientific Research. She aspires to earn a Master's degree in Health Care Management.

Paterson looks forward to earning a bachelor's degree in Show Production from Full Sail University in Orlando, Florida. He aspires to one day be part of a large concert and music production team.

Yu will be attending the University of South Carolina. With a love of math and a passion for fashion, Jade is planning a career in Marketing.
