Maris Grove Staff Appreciation Fund Spreads Cheer to Hourly Staff Members

'Tis the season for cookies, cocoa, cheer—and recognizing staff members who go above and beyond for residents at Maris Grove, the Erickson Senior Living community in Glen Mills, Pa., every day!

The 2023 Staff Appreciation Fund (SAF), made possible through generous donations from warm-hearted residents, will be dispersed among eligible employees to thank them for providing industry-leading services that enhance the community's engaging, worry-free lifestyle.

This year alone, Maris Grove residents contributed $228,422 to the SAF. 

"I'd like to extend a huge thank you to all the residents who contributed to the fund this year," says Executive Director Maureen Heckler. "It's the relationships between residents and staff that make Maris Grove the vibrant, welcoming community it is." 

 At Maris Grove's Staff Appreciation celebration held on December 5, Maris Grove team members had the opportunity to thank residents for the gift and contribute personalized messages of gratitude to the "Thank You" posters. The posters are currently on display in dining venues on campus.

A total of 648 employees were celebrated and received a distribution from the Fund this year.
