Oak Crest to Tip Off March Madness with Hoops Competition

March 17, 2014

PARKVILLE, MD---Can Wichita State go undefeated?  Will Louisville repeat?  Is someone really going to win a billion dollars from Warren Buffett for a perfect bracket?

March Madness brings compelling hoops questions each and every year.  But at Oak Crest, the Erickson Living retirement community in Parkville, the intrigue centers around a friendly competition that tips-off the post-season locally.

On Wednesday, March 19th at 11am, residents of Oak Crest will test their free-throw shooting skills at the community's Annual March Madness competition.

Coordinated by the fitness center of Oak Crest, the event features three divisions: men, women and mixed teams for prizes.  Residents will don colors of their favorite teams.

Canned food donations will be collected for the Community Assistance Network of Baltimore County.
