Erickson Living Announces Siena Lakes’ First Executive Director

Erickson Living, a national leader in developing and managing continuing care retirement communities (CCRCs), has named Michael McCormick as Siena Lakes’ first executive director. McCormick is a highly respected senior living executive and industry veteran whose career has been marked by having a passion and success in serving seniors.

“Throughout his distinguished career, Mike has been a champion for creating the finest quality lifestyle for seniors, while also promoting a vibrant and rewarding culture for senior living career professionals,” said Debra Doyle, chief operating officer at Erickson Living. “His diverse management and operational expertise, coupled with many years of health care experience and senior living engagement, make him an ideal choice to lead the company’s newest premier senior living community into the future.” 

McCormick joined Erickson Living in 1995 with an extensive background in health care. He started his career with Erickson Living as director of Health Services at Charlestown in Catonsville, Maryland, and was subsequently promoted to associate executive director at Oak Crest in Parkville, Maryland. For the past eighteen years, he has served as executive director at Fox Run in Novi, Michigan. 

He also serves as a committee chair on Erickson Living’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee.

McCormick holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in business administration from Kent State University.

Siena Lakes is situated on a scenic, 29-acre campus just minutes from downtown Naples and is Erickson Living’s second community in Florida—the other being Devonshire at PGA National in Palm Beach Gardens. Siena Lakes will feature luxurious one-level apartment homes, many with views of the community’s lakes and water features. Residents can choose from a variety of one and two bedroom floor plans that can all be customized to match their personal preferences.
