Tallgrass Creek Holds First Annual Putting Tournament

Tallgrass Creek recently hosted its first-ever Putting Tournament for residents.

With categories for both men and women, neighbors enjoyed the opportunity to polish their short game while socializing with friends on a summer afternoon. The Clubhouse Courtyard provided the perfect setting for the day’s events, and the warm weather did not deter residents from gathering to watch Jean Landreville, Executive Director at Tallgrass Creek, make the first putt.

Spectators enjoyed hot dogs, cool beverages and tried their luck at the chipping contest while the putting contestants took to the green.

Congratulations were in order for Dick Marquette and Sue Keena, the respective winners of this year’s tournament, just one of many special events and activities Tallgrass Creek residents enjoy as part of an active and engaged retirement lifestyle at the community.
